Lake Charles LNG is teaming up with the Calcasieu Parish School Board to help improve traffic flow on Nelson Road by providing a $200,000 donation, combined with matching funds from the School Board, to build a dedicated student drop-off/pick-up zone on the Prien Lake Elementary School campus.

With industrial expansions taking place in Southwest Louisiana, the need arises for a skilled workforce. Lake Charles LNG is again teaming up with SOWELA Technical Community College to empower tomorrow’s workforce with a $260,000 investment in the education and training of area high school students; bringing Lake Charles LNG’s support of SOWELA programs to more than $500,000 in a two-year period.
