Exporting LNG to world markets is expected to provide economic- and employment-related benefits for the United States and Louisiana, including several thousand jobs during the project’s construction phase and approximately 250 operational positions once construction is complete.

Construction positions will be managed through the project's Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) contractor, which is in the process of being selected. More information on jobs will be available through the EPC contractor once selected.

Lake Charles LNG supports the Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana’s Workforce Scholarship Program, which provides financial and support resources for craft and skills training. If you are interested in applying for a training scholarship, visit http://www.foundationswla.org/workforce-scholarship/.
